Important Information

On July 1, 2014, the City of Raleigh implemented a new on-line application process. It requires all City applicants to go to the City of Raleigh website and create a Neogov account to make application. If you already have a Neogov account, you can log into the account and fill out an application to the City of Raleigh position you seek.

You must download the Raleigh police application packet (basic or lateral) before submitting your application in Neogov. It will be necessary for you to upload a complete police application packet into your Neogov account before submitting your application. Once you submit your application, there is not an option for you to attach more documents; so, please ensure your application packet is complete.

You will receive email notifications on the progress of your application in the process. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the police recruiting office at 919-996-1343.
